To ensure the security of your account and to comply with FedRAMP requirements, we have implemented a policy that automatically locks your account for 30 minutes after three incorrect username or password attempts. If your account is locked, you will need to wait for 30 minutes for it to be automatically unlocked.
Why was my account locked?
Your account was locked as a security measure to protect your information. Multiple incorrect login attempts may indicate that someone is trying to gain unauthorized access to your account.
How can I unlock my account?
- Wait for 30 minutes: After the lockout period, your account will be automatically unlocked. Ensure that you are entering the correct username and password to avoid repeated lockouts.
- Contact support (if needed): If you did not receive an email from Okta or need further assistance, please contact our support team for help.
Preventing future lockouts
To avoid future account lockouts, make sure to enter your username and password correctly. We strongly advise against writing your usernames and/or passwords down as this can compromise the security of your account. If you are having trouble remembering your password, consider using a password manager to securely store and manage your passwords.
